Lea G Announces New EP The Flood, A Dive Into Self-Discovery

Rising alt-pop artist Lea G has unveiled her most vulnerable and ambitious project yet: her new EP, The Flood, a sweeping exploration of chaos, release, and renewal.

Built from moments of stillness and storm alike, The Flood captures the emotional ebb and flow that comes with transformation. Lea describes the project as “a project born from chaos, the kind that quietly brews beneath the surface until it demands to be felt.” Across its tracks, she chronicles a journey of shedding old identities, facing discomfort, and uncovering beauty in the act of unmaking and remaking oneself.

“Each track is a chapter in my journey of self-excavation: letting go of old versions of myself, confronting the uncomfortable, and finding beauty in the undoing,” she explains. “There’s nostalgia in looking back at who I used to be, but there’s also a thrill in stepping into who I’m becoming. This EP is my most honest work yet: it’s messy, emotional, loud, soft, and everything in between. I made it to feel like a release for me, and hopefully for everyone who listens.”

Musically, The Flood pushes Lea’s sound into bold new territory. Fusing cinematic production with delicate vocals and raw lyricism, the EP captures both the weight of introspection and the catharsis of release. Each song feels like a tide, sometimes calm, sometimes overwhelming, but always deeply human.
