London Alt-Artiste Abimaro Shares a Soulful Tribute in ‘Without You’

Undoubtably adding to the variety of alternative music present on the UK scene, and gracing listeners with her angel-like vocals, London Alt-Artiste Abimaro is here to share a soulful tribute in her latest work, Without You.

With Sam Beste on the production, Without You is slow-paced and made up by a mesh of eclectic sound qualities that include smooth, enchanting acoustics, a subtle Jazz-like bass and drums gingering the irregular beat. The songstress proceeds to emotively detail the lyrical content using her skilful voice, to channel the feelings detailed in the song.

Speaking on Without You’s composition, Abimaro stated, “I wrote ‘Without You’ after experiencing loss, and wanting to put those feelings into words to mark them, to honour that person in a way…I was heavily pregnant when I recorded the vocals for this track, so I love hearing it back because I can really hear the difference in my voice from my other releases, and I love that.  It will always hold a really special time of my life in this record.”
