Arriving fresh off the release of “Bittersweet”, UK trailblazer Mariella has shared the highly anticipated release of her debut EP ‘Deeper Than You’.
Whilst Mariella remains an emerging R&B-Soul powerhouse in the UK, she eloquently nods to her formative songwriting years of listening to Folk and Indie bands and playing in ensembles as well as the R&B/Soul classics that have all inspired her unique hybrid sound.
‘Deeper Than You’ is a candid journey that follows a young woman in her twenty-somethings navigating life’s intricacies. Welcomed with the up-beat sounds of “Reach You”, we find ourselves submerged in the captivating “Deja Vu”, and euphoric “Bittersweet” before stumbling into the brand-new track “Passing By”.
Posing as the ultimate break-up anthem, Mariella is forced to face reality and come to accept that her ex-lover is just another chapter in what’s set to be an incredible story. Enriched with a sense of freedom, the singer-songwriter is liberating her audience to wipe away their woes and continue to strive for greatness.
