In the spirit of celebrations for their 10-year anniversary, leading independent Nigerian label, Mavin Records have released a new single, ‘Won Da Mo’ taken from their Mavin10 album, due December 2nd. The release marks an exciting time for Afrobeats as it cements its international success and is dubbed the genre of 2022. The global listenership has been hugely influential in the UK with three artists from Nigeria featuring in The Official UK Top 40 this past month, reflecting Mavin Records’s
stronghold as one of the most dominant music forces from the continent.

Highlighting the team’s persistency, ten years on they have developed a label with a proven track record of connecting sounds beyond their native. With an undeniable impact on the worldwide musical landscape, a combination of innovative artists and an unmatched team is the driving force behind Mavin Records’s continuous triumph.

Under the leadership of legendary producer, Don Jazzy, Mavin Records has been at the forefront of music business conversations since starting the label back in 2012. Having broken onto the global scene with tangible success to show for it, Mavin Records’s current roster is made up of ten artists, two songwriters and five producers who have all individually cornered their own artistry. Previous single from the forthcoming compilation, ‘Overdose (Overloading)’ took over dance floors this summer, amassing over 200 million streams and over 24 million views on YouTube in the process. ‘Won Da Mo’ reflects the burgeoning roster in its fullest form with vocal contributions from Rema, Ayra Starr, LADIPOE, Boy
Spyce, Bayanni, Magixx, Crayon, and Johnny Drille. Driven by an up-tempo production from fellow-Mavin Records producer Andre Vibes, the anthemic track represents the sonic worlds of each artist into one power ballad.

The upcoming project is a milestone moment that will see each artist in all
their glory as we simultaneously celebrate the continuous efforts of the formidable label.
