Micco and Elias, an emcee and producer have returned with a brand new woozy offering titled, Playground.
Exploring his experience in living between both the UK and the US, Micco gives us a very honest and vulnerable account of his experiences. Layered over a Drum & Bass inspired backdrop courtesy of Elias, Micco’s laid-back cadence and head-bopping flows compliment the beat seamlessly.
Speaking on the release, the pair commented; “The first verse addresses when Micco left the UK to stay with close Family in the United States after the riots in London, which left him feeling a deeper sense of identity. The second verse was written after the social injustices in the United States so it seemed only right we addressed this too.”
