Miles From Kinasha Taps Kadiata For Laid Back Sizzler “Don’t Be An Opp”
6 Oct 2021
Congo born and London residing artist, Miles From Kinasha has called on Kadiata for the release of their brand new release named, “Don’t Be An Opp”.
Following on from the release of his ‘Beloved’ EP last year, Miles From Kinasha has returned with a laid-back and fun-filled offering. Underpinned with a swanky production, “Don’t Be An Opp” oozes with a sense of freedom as Miles searches for love. Accompanied with a slick Kadiata verse, the pair continue to boast their musical chemistry in another quality drop.
Speaking on the release Miles commented, “Don’t Be An Opp is a song I wrote during lockdown, at the time I was longing for some time away with some company just to have a good time. Time was feeling very bleak and uncertain and honestly I just needed some sun, so I just put it in a song instead of a Ryanair flight! It’s very tongue in cheek and carefree, coming off the back of my last project I just wanted to come back with something fresh but still very idiosyncratically Miles from Kinshasa. Kadiata produced the song and it was only right he dropped a classic verse. I feel like we were moving Andy Cole & Dwight Yorke on this one, we’re very in-sync, it’s a nice moment.”
