Tottenham songbird, Miraa May has finally released her debut album Tales of a Miracle. Following projects like Care Package and Dark Mode, Miraa takes an introspective route in her recent body of work, exploring pieces of her past, present and future across the 17-track project.

Femininity and empowerment is laced throughout the album, and features some of UK’s finest women in music: Jorja Smith, Steff Lon Don, Mahalia, Mnelia and RAYE as well as a reborn, Dyo (previously known as Ms D) on the sensual track Empress Me.

Through the blending of R&B ballads and self-affirmative lyricism, Miraa takes us on a journey through love, spirituality, trauma, romance and cultural heritage.

Across the album, afrobeat break beats and classic Algerian vocals (a nod to her heritage) decorate the project’s soundscape, resulting in a versatile display of her talents.
