Last night Glasgow SSE was filled with supporters, acts and some of the UK’s highly acclaimed people in the urban music scene. The Mobo Awards took place and happened to showcase great talent and also witness some mistakes take place!

The likes of Lady Leshurr, Craig David, WSTRN, Section Boyz all were privileged to take home awards for their noted category. Performances from the likes of bashment superstar Popcaan, shook up the place and the crowd was really receptive!

Obviously we have to mention one of the most talked about moments on MOBO history where WSTRN were mistakenly given someone else’s prize!
The Londoners were announced as winners of best song and gave a speech before organisers revealed the prize should have gone to MC Abra Cadabra.
“Of the many worthy winners of best song, we deeply regret a mistake was made,” said Mobo organisers, in a statement blaming a “production error.”

WSTRN have had more than amazing year however we are so proud for Abra Cadabra taking the award home, he really deserved it!

Another controversial act that took place was also the retraction of the superstar Tinie Tempah pulling out of the MOBO performance he was set out to do! He stressed that he couldn’t attend due to ‘industry politics’.

All in all we just wanna wish all the acts who won and nominated a massive well. All the acts are amazing in their own rights and wish nothing but success especially for the likes of Avelino, MoStack, 67, Giggs, Aj Tracey and many many more
