U.K. rapper, Ms Banks, is among the faces and names that are candidates for the annual XXL Freshman list! In the past year alone, Banks has worked relentlessly to expand her network and has been a frequent ‘music dropper’ with hit singles such as, Snack, and the release of her 4th body of work, The Coldest Winter Ever II.

XXL has an extensive history of showcasing underground rappers, as well as artists considered to be on the rise. The list creates a significant awareness among listeners and artists, and many can credit XXL’s feature for giving artists their first taste of fame.
