Murkage Dave Comes Through With ‘The City Needs… Part Deux’

East London singer songwriter Murkage Dave has delivered a follow up to last year’s thought provoking album, ‘The City Needs A Hero’, by dropping ‘The City Needs… Part Deux’. The eleven track project contains features from the likes of Jaykae, Lioness, and Teef, and demonstrates how Dave as one of the most unique songwriting talents in this country.

Following on from the release of singles ‘Violence In Me’ and ‘Never Sing Olly Olly Olly Again’, Murkage Dave showcases on this album a level of comfort across a multitude of genres. His deadpan social commentary coupled with his recognisable melodic undertones make the artist an enigmatic talent, as underlined by the superhero themes across his last two projects.

Since releasing the outstanding ‘Murkage Dave Changed My Life’ back in 2018, Dave’s levels of artistry and songwriting ability have only got better. ‘The City Needs… Part Deux’ is demonstrative of this, and there is no doubt that the artist should be getting more recognition as one of the UK’s best in his field.
