Nix Northwest Joins The Silhouettes Project For ‘Be Myself’

Rapper, songwriter, and multi instrumentalist Nix Northwest has joined up with alternative music collective The Silhouettes Project for ‘Be Myself’. The single has been taken from the group’s hotly anticipated second album which is scheduled for release in mid February.

Backed by smooth production from Tambala, Nix flows effortlessly across this new track, tapping into melodies and flows throughout. The single has also been accompanied by a slick visual directed by Sebastian Luke-Virgo.

Speaking on the track, Nix Northwest states:

“This tune is about empowering yourself and embracing your quirks and the things that make you a unique human being. People try and mould you from the day you’re born but it’s important to listen to your intuition and just be yourself.

I’ve known Tambala for a number of years, but we hadn’t officially worked on anything until this song. Having produced my last album myself, it was super refreshing to have another person to bounce of creatively for this.”
