Nix Northwest has dropped his latest single, ‘Problems’, accompanied by a cinematic self-directed visual. The London artist and multi-instrumentalist has also announced a forthcoming album, entitled ‘Xin’s Disappearance’, scheduled to be released on the 15th of March.

The track showcases the versatility of Nix, blending a catchy, Brazilian Funk influenced guitar riff with a laid-back, assured vocal performance. ‘Problems’ is demonstrative of not only the musical ability of Nix Northwest, but also his talents as a lyricist.

Speaking on the track, the artist commented:

“Problems is a song about not wanting to fall into the trap of spending a life chasing money while also knowing that without it you can be very restricted. It’s about finding that balance between an ego-driven desire to acquire more than enough wealth but also stay grounded and being aware that there is a certain level you need to live comfortably and survive.”

This release follows on from ‘Sun In My Eyes’, which received radio play and acclaim from Nix’s fanbase. Fans of the artist will be able to show their support next month when the rapper embarks on a nationwide tour, with dates in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Brighton, and his London headline at Lafayette.
