Australia’s leading drill collective, ONEFOUR, is back with another electrifying release ‘MOVIE’ featuring North London’s trailblazer Abra Cadabra. Known for their sharp lyricism and visceral storytelling, ONEFOUR and Abra deliver a masterclass in drill with a track that blends woozy 808s, sharp percussion, and an evocative vintage sample.

‘MOVIE’ encapsulates the gritty realities of life on the streets, offering a raw depiction of inner-city pressures and nocturnal challenges. Trading razor-sharp flows and infectious hooks, both ONEFOUR and Abra Cadabra paint vivid pictures of their paths, flexing their resilience and success in lines like, “Came from hopping them fences // Now I’m shopping at Gucci.”

For ONEFOUR, authenticity remains central to their music. “I can only rap what I live, and I live what I rap, I can never be deceiving,” they affirm.

The release of ‘MOVIE’ follows an incredible year for ONEFOUR, marked by high-profile collaborations and career-defining performances. Tracks like ‘GANG TIES’ with UK drill pioneer Headie One and ‘SPINNIN’ featuring Nemzzz have amassed millions of streams, while earning praise from outlets like WONDERLAND, CLASH, and VIPER.

Their live performances have been equally groundbreaking. From supporting The Kid Laroi to their sold-out debut headline show on the Central Coast, the group continues to rise despite facing significant challenges, including police interference reminiscent of the struggles faced by UK drill legend Giggs and US rap icons like N.W.A.

Comprised of J Emz, Spenny, Celly, and Lekks, ONEFOUR has become a driving force in Australia’s underground music scene, amassing over 300 million streams on Spotify. Breakout hits like ‘The Message’ and ‘Spot the Difference’ cemented their status as innovators, while collaborations with international heavyweights like A$AP Ferg, Stormzy, and AJ Tracey have elevated their sound onto the global stage.

Their critically acclaimed debut project, Against All Odds, was accompanied by a Netflix documentary that shed light on the struggles, conflicts, and triumphs of their Mount Druitt roots. Garnering attention from GQ, NME, The Guardian, and Rolling Stone, the documentary further solidified their position as cultural leaders in the drill scene.

‘MOVIE’ is just the latest chapter in ONEFOUR’s meteoric rise. With a polished blend of raw storytelling and cutting-edge sound, the group continues to expand their influence, carving out a space for Australian drill on the global stage. As they prepare for future releases, ONEFOUR’s relentless drive and creativity ensure their place in the international music blueprint for years to come.

From Mount Druitt to Tottenham and beyond, ONEFOUR’s legacy is being written—and it’s only getting started.
