Afrobeats star Oxlade has come through with his latest single, ‘Arabambi’. The track has been accompanied by a romantic music video directed by Kunai Lester & Nayaeffectz.

Oxlade rose to prominence thanks to his breakout hit, ‘KU LO SA’, which has amassed hundreds of millions of streams and seen him work with the likes of Dave and Camilla Cabello in recent years. This new record also comes with the news that the artist will be releasing his debut album, ‘Oxlade From Africa’, later this year.

Speaking on the track, Oxlade states:

“Arabambi means ‘the child of the people,’ ‘the community gave birth to this child,’ ‘the one.’ It’s also the nickname of K1 De Ultimate, an iconic Nigerian Fuji musician. The melody is inspired by the American singer Miguel and the way he uses his vocals. It’s a love song but it’s still me in my braggadocious elements. It is the original song I was meant to perform for COLORSxSTUDIOS before I swapped it for ‘Ku Lo Sa.’”
