Oxlade is back with banger “Ovami” featuring Flavour!

Nigerian phenomenon Oxlade is back with another banger “Ovami” adding to his collection of hits, as he links up with Flavour, Africa’s hi life king. The dynamic duo compliment each other well on this track as Oxlade’s distinctive vocals blends nicely with Flavour’s hi life style.

Magicsticks, the same legend behind Sungba, Unavailable and Organise along with more hits produced “Ovami” so it’s no surprise that this is looking like another summer anthem. Though the song is more mellow and romantic, the beat is still contagious and combines traditional afrobeat’s with hi life, a beautiful contrast.

Oxlade has been climbing the charts and dominating Afrobeat’s as he also has an impressive range of collaborations. He took to the stage at the Global Citizen Festival in Ghana, alongside Usher. His hit single “Ku Lo Sa” went double platinum in France, Germany, Switzerland and Canada. Rolling stone placed “Ku Lo Sa” as #2 best afrobeat song of 2022, to say the least.

Oxlade said “This song was triggered by a failed love I had hoped on. Working with the very talented Flavour was such an honour.” Luckily, Oxlade is preparing to release his debut album “Oxlade from Africa”, so more to come!
