PS Hitsquad Unveils ‘Turtle’

PS Hitsquad has come through with his new single, ‘Turtle’. The track has been accompanied by a conceptual video shot by Billy Howard Price.

PS was part of the pioneering drill group Zone 2 and his influence on the UK rap landscape cannot be underestimated. ‘Turtle’ sees a continuation of this with the artist’s best work seemingly on the horizon.

Speaking on the video, Billy Howard Price states:

“In ancient Roman warfare, the testudo (or ‘turtle’) was a defensive formation in which soldiers formed a protective space around one another by tightly pulling their shields together. They would advance towards the enemy, protected from arrows or attack. This felt like a fitting central image for our video. Defense as attack”
