Earlier this year, Manchester Songstress Pip Millett shared her gospel-soaked single Hard Life and powerful collaboration, Running, with UK Rap heavy-weight Ghetts; releases which have now appeared in her euphoric EP, Motion Sick.

The project opens on an orchestral tone with Running, and transitions beautifully into Hard Life which maintains this level of artistry, whilst also introducing soul-based elements that have been heavily fused with old-school Hip-Hop.

In contrast, Braid it Back takes on a slower pace and brings to light the singer’s ability to soften her vocal delivery to a reverbed-style production, capable of leading listeners to lose track of time. Pip’s collaboration with Gaidaa on Sad Girls demonstrates how a beautiful artist chemistry unfolds at the face of a band-heavy production that makes full use of a steady drum tempo, and graceful acoustic licks.

Best Things brings Motion Sick to a peaceful close, and once again sees this songstress gloriously delivering her lyrical content in a soothing, falsetto-like voice; leaving her audience on an introspective note.
