Pozer announces debut mixtape ‘Crossroads’

MOBO Award-winning rapper Pozer has today announced his highly-anticipated debut mixtape Crossroads, arriving 29th May.

Spanning 12 tracks, Crossroads is Pozer’s most reflective body of work to date, unpacking identity, ambition and the weight of where he’s from as he looks to break the generational cycles that shaped him.

Speaking on the tape, Pozer said –

“Crossroads is a representation of where my life is right now, I’m at a crossroads between my life before music and my life going forward. I want the listeners to listen to it and feel motivated to chase their dreams through hearing me talk about all of the hurdles before me getting to where I am. It’s an indescribable feeling to be putting this out into the world. I feel like it’s a combination of a lot of things, but it’s exciting to say the least.”

The announcement lands with the new single ‘MF Doom’. Built on heavy bass and piercing pipes, the track sees Pozer lean into themes of anonymity and control, referencing the masked legacy of MF DOOM as he tears through the dread-inducing beat with an unrelenting, full-force delivery.
