Premiere: London Newcomer Lukwatsss Turns Up The Heat In Summer Anthem “Come Around”
9 Aug 2021
Following a string of successful singles, alongside being an opening act for a selection of UK heavy-weights including Headie One, Yxng Bane, MoStack, and more, London’s rising artist Lukwatsss has returned to our screens with his brand-new summer infused single named, “Come Around”.
Like many artists, Lukwatsss stumbled across his talent from a young age but his dreams of becoming a footballer pushed his love for music aside. Following his time at Fulham’s academy as a goalkeeper, his time on the pitch came to an end which enabled Lukwatsss to step in the booth and fulfill his potential. Taking influence from J Hus and MoStack, he made his debut entrance with “Mona Lisa” back in 2018, which has since accumulated over 3 million streams on Spotify. Since then, he has delivered a slew of top-notch singles that have caught the eyes of many, and today he’s back with a bang!
Housing a summer-infused production courtesy of Jbeatzz, “Come Around” enables Lukwatsss to express his love and feelings for an ex partner. Encouraging his leading lady to come back and work on the relationship with the promise that he is working on himself – a narrative that I’m sure many of us can relate to in some shape or form – Lukwatsss’s infectious melodies and slick pen game take centre stage throughout. Encapsulating that summer feeling we’ve all been craving as we begin to step out of lockdown, we follow the newcomer around as he takes a stroll along the coast – “Come Around” is a must-add to your playlist!
