PUMA has today announced the launch of Suede Music Studio in London’s very own Ladbroke Grove. Paying homage to PUMA Suede’s long-standing history of connecting both music and culture together, they have partnered up with Spotify in order to create an inspirational space for budding musicians across the capital – amazing!

Championed by grime pioneer, Ghetts, can be seen in the image above with three generations of emerging Black talent hailing from Newham, recording their track titled, ‘Newham’. Not only this, but over the next 6 months, a variety of artists and brands including No Signal, Big Tobz, Shaybo, Jaz Karis and KNUCKS will step into the studio to create some new and exciting content!

Commenting on the launch, Ghetts said: “We’re three generations of Newham and our perspectives may differ but that’s what we want to get across on this track. It’s a beautiful moment and to have the opportunity to unite on a track like this is special.  It’s important to see other people winning from where we’re from, because that seemed so far away at one point.  We have the power to inspire people and I can only hope I inspire the next generation of talent making waves in the music industry, like I did.”

Ruth How, the Head of Marketing at PUMA UK, Ireland, Benelux, commented; “Staying true to the ethos of PUMA’s cult classic Suede shoe as it relaunches this week, we’re excited to announce Suede Music. Exploring the music and street culture scene to establish the game changers of today, we’re lucky to get the chance to align with these new icons and voices.”

The Suede Music campaign is set to relaunch PUMA’s Classic Suede shoe, which will be hitting stores from Wednesday 4 November! Don’t miss out!
