Reuben Aziz Drops ‘shotgun’ Single

A rising voice in the UK scene, singer and rapper Reuben Aziz has delivered his new single, ‘shotgun’. The Southampton born artist is starting the year in fine form after a breakout 2025.

Citing a broad spectrum of influences from Ed Sheeran to Kanye West and Skepta, Aziz is very much in his own lane when it comes to his dual threat behind the microphone. ‘shotgun’ has already garnered attention from the likes of FD From The Future and Jordy, with Reuben looking set to stake his claim on 2026 from the jump.

Speaking on the track, the artist states:

“I’m trying to carve a lane of R&B which pays homage to Hip-Hop through sounds that emulate mosh-pit energy as much as something beautiful and melodic. I’ve put a lot more focus on the visual elements on this one too, as I’m aware of the visual world I’m trying to build in 2026.
