Having already garnered support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, who compared the pair to Loyle Carner, Kiss Fresh and BBC 6 Music, rising Manchester-based duo Fieves have today shared their debut EP “Between Hello & Goodbye”. With the last year or so consisting of multiple sold-out shows across their home city, including YES Basement, and Deaf Institute, Fieves have firmly bolstered the successes of their next EP and themselves as the next new act ready to break out of Manchester.

Combining the deep, relaxing tone and introspective lyricism of rapper Finnerz with a combination of Yves Jones’ technically excellent production, “Between Hello & Goodbye” consists of five carefully curated tracks, exploring an introspective and mellow soundscape. Touching on themes such as growth, connection, and addiction, the project has been comprised with a real authentic sense of musicality and originality.

With features from Nyah Grace, Verbz, aya dia, 2b.Frank and DBL A, the additional dynamics provided by all said artists help to contribute to a ‘complete’ feeling to this project. Warm with a window for reflection, Fieves successfully create sounds that resonate with the masses whilst still emotionally connected to the niche.

When asked about the inspiration behind the EP, Fieves explained, “Between Hello and Goodbye” explores our personal stories as young men trying to find our way in the ever-changing landscape of modern Britain. Tackling themes of addiction, loss and heartbreak as well as new steps and challenges, we hope that people are able to resonate with its messages no matter their background or stage in life. For us, this is everything in between hello and goodbye.”
