Posing as an artist to watch this 2021 is Leicester-based artist Sainté. Following the release of an impressive run of singles last year including “Champagne Shots”, “Round & Round” to his polished cut entitled “Reference”, the rising talent is back with a 4-track capsule entitled, ‘Local MVP’.

Sitting comfortably in between an assortment of atmospheric and dynamic instrumentals, Sainté’s laid back cadence, skilled pen and melodies takes centre stage as he eloquently delivers 4 top-notch tracks. Housing executive production from frequent collaborator Parker Jazz, we swiftly navigate ourselves through the mellow vibrations of “Stylin'” (below), the laid-back aura of “Hunnids” before stumbling across a dreamy capsule in the form of “On Me”, and lastly his “Champagne Shots” hit – although the project clocks in at just 10 minutes long, this EP is a taste of what’s yet to come from Sainté.

Teaming up with the visual whiz, otherwise known as Arran; the pair are no strangers to pushing artistic boundaries. Sat in a vintage whip with a full 360 view, we follow Sainté around as he steer’s us visually through the blissful production he weaves in and out of.

With only a handful of tracks behind him, the budding artist has already shown huge potential and is one of many pushing a refreshing and distinct style back through British Rap as we currently know it – the Leicester native is without a doubt one to watch!
