Sim0ne announces debut EP ‘zer0’ out 26th June and shares new single ‘In Ya Mind’

Edinburgh-born, London-based DJ, producer and vocalist sim0ne has today unveiled her brand new single “in ya mind”, alongside the announcement of her highly anticipated debut EP zer0 set for release on June 26th.

Built around a striking contrast of atmosphere and intensity, “in ya mind” showcases sim0ne’s ability to fuse emotive songwriting with peak-time dancefloor energy. 

“This track plays with the juxtaposition of hard and soft with little grey area in the middle,” says sim0ne. “I wanted ‘in ya mind’ to feel dreamy, melancholic and otherworldly in the verses while the drop is techno focused with a rumbling warehouse kick. The track weaves in a breakbeat which ties it to its inspiration in 90s UK rave culture alongside the melodic reference to Olive’s 1996 track ‘You’re Not Alone’.”
