Skin on Skin unveils surprise new mixtape ‘Home Is True’

South Sudanese-Australian innovator Skin on Skin has come through today to surprise release his brand new mixtape ‘Home Is True’.

A deeply personal mixtape tracing the emotional geography of an artist in perpetual motion, the project, released on his own ‘Stay On Sight Recordings’, is centred around human experience, togetherness and meaningful connection, recalibrating and reconnecting with his true artistic values.

With Skin On Skin solely writing, producing and performing every song on the mixtape – and also providing his own vocals on three tracks (“ أسرة (Family)”, “Where You Need To Be”, “Let Me Say This”) – it’s both a love letter to the cultures that shaped him and a revealing signpost to where he’s headed next.
