Sona Drops New High-Energy Anthem ‘Petrol Station’

UK Afrobeats star Sona makes his highly anticipated return, with his new high-energy anthem Petrol Station, produced by TSL.

While Petrol Station marks a shift from his usual style, the track is undeniably catchy. Is this a sign that he’s evolving his sound, or simply having fun? Only time will tell.

Known for his infectious melodies and Afro-influenced sound, Sona first made waves in the underground scene in 2014 with tracks like No Wahala, Ijo Sona, and Ginger, the latter reaching Number 2 on the Capital Xtra Afrobeats Chart.

Since then, he’s released singles like Looku and Pepe, and more recently, he experimented with Amapiano on his track Mode. His music career continues to go from strenght to strength, having been co-signed by Ed Sheeran and featured on Kwamz’s hit single Yeah Yeah Yeah.
