Music has always been more than what we hear; it is the emotions, memories, and fleeting moments it unlocks. For electronic artist Jamie Reddington (better known as Sound of Fractures) this belief is the heartbeat of his creative world. With over four million Spotify streams and support from tastemakers such as Mixmag, DMY, and CLASH, he has built a reputation not only for innovative production but for his obsession with taking music further than the audio space. His latest offering, SCENES: Prompts to Reflect, is a natural extension of that vision.

The postcard book stems from Scenes, the groundbreaking mixed-media project that reframed how fans interact with music. As Reddington explains, “Music goes beyond sound; it taps into the memories and emotions it awakens. ‘Scenes’ gives a tangible shape to this connection and preserves it in a recognisable form for fans to own.” The project invited listeners to submit personal photographs, stories, and reflections tied to his songs, transforming each track into a shared emotional landscape. These collective memories formed a digital gallery, a living document of how music and life intersect in an age defined by social media.

Prompts to Reflect carries this ethos into the physical world. Each postcard in the book was created from public submissions responding to guided prompts, turning the collection into an invitation to pause, remember, and reconnect. In a time when interactions are fast, scrollable, and often forgotten, these postcards encourage a slowing down and a return to meaningful reflection.

Designed to be used, gifted, displayed, or mailed, the postcards serve as wellness tools and personal keepsakes. They bridge the widening gap between the digital and the tangible by offering something you can hold, share, or send to someone you care about—an analogue antidote to digital noise.

Though simple in structure, the prompts offer powerful moments of introspection. They encourage the reader to acknowledge cherished memories, express gratitude, or simply breathe and be present. In doing so, they echo the deeper mission of Scenes: to build a community rooted in shared humanity, not algorithms.

Sound of Fractures’ forthcoming album continues this collaborative spirit. Built using web3 and NFT-enabled tools, it transforms fan-submitted memories into a unique collection of “Scenes” tied to each track: a testament to his belief in music as both a personal and communal experience.
