South London’s rising starlet Cookie is continuing his ascension on the UK music scene, and following on from the release of his ‘Jump Out’ Freestyle which he dropped earlier this year, the rapper is back to stunt with visuals for ‘Mobile Phone’.

The tracks sound is characterised by oriental harp-like sounds and a deep bass which Cookie manipulates and uses to his advantage to show off his captivating flow that shines over the polished Trap-Wave Production. Complimenting this, are airy adlibs along with the electric sound accentuating the artist’s firey hook pre-outro. Much like ‘Jump Out’ there’s sonic elements that give the track, unique qualities which listeners will find enjoyable.

‘Mobile Phone’s music video is illustrated by luxury visuals and creative transitions; with scenes picturing the Thamesmead native vibing in a chilled blue set-up with his crew and flexing with a Mrs in a boujee ride. When vocalising the lyrical content, Cookie not only does this in confidence but also in style.
