Strandz And Unkown T Link Up On ‘They Wish’

One of the hottest emerging stars to come out of the UK scene in the past few years, Strandz has linked up with Unknown T for his latest single, ‘They Wish’. The self produced track sees two contrasting styles come together effortlessly, tapping into the lead artist’s signature sound.

Inspired by the sonics of East Coast rap and Hip Hop from the 90’s and 00’s, Strandz has managed to fashion this into his own inimitable musical work. His debut project, ‘No Time’ saw the artist achieve over 200 million streams, as well as praise from the likes of Skepta and Stormzy.

Speaking on the new release, Strandz states:

“They Wish is me sticking to my roots… When I create music, I envision turning up in the sun – that’s the essence of this track. Unknown T was the perfect fit for this one, we been locking in for years and musically we both aim to be disruptive.”

So like, me and Strandz have obviously been working on singles back and forth, but I feel like this part especially made sense for me to showcase my talent. For a few years the people have obviously heard me in the drill narrative.
