Following her soulful guest appearance on “Good Hearts” that featured on Ghetts’ chart-topping album ‘Conflict of Interest’, Swedish artist Aida Lae has returned with her brand new hypnotic single named “Heartbroke”.
Co-written alongside pop-hit maker Tayla Parx (Ariana Grande, Little Mix – Sweet Melody, Khalid, Megan Thee Stallion), “Heartbroke” is a sultry yet nostalgic drop that boasts Aida Lae’s butter-like vocals from start to finish. Exploring a post break-up angst, and the trials of that come with a new relationship, the R&B infused backdrop poses as the perfect foundation for the songstress to glaze her top-notch artistry atop.
Speaking on the release, Aida Lae commented; ”I had the pleasure of collaborating with the amazing Tayla Parx on ‘Heartbroke’. She’s such an amazing songwriter/artist, and to be able to have her input on this song was so precious.
The song is a testament to the stages of vulnerability that the heart experiences post break-up, and how you have to keep moving forward so time can do its thing and mend a broken heart. Time is of the essence and I don’t want to waste it being sad, I want to spend time looking toward the future.”
