Following the release of both “Not Around” and “Infinite Straight”, London newcomer tendai has made his highly awaited return with the release of his genre-bending single, “Lately”.

Posing as his third single, tendai has already made quite the impression and in turn become an artist to watch. Reputable for infusing elements of genres to create one seamless and distinct sound, the budding talent has done exactly that with “Lately”. With the aim to create a soundtrack that reflects the feeling of London’s inner city, his instantly recognisable tone is submerged into a pool of texture that borrows from past and present sounds. Paired alongside a set of hazy visuals courtesy of Ethan & Tom (Infinite Straight) we follow tendai around amidst a selection of dream-like effects.

Speaking on the release tendai commented, “I wanted Lately, to feel like a soundtrack to London, walking on the underground, walking through the city. I grew up on house rather than garage but if you’re from London, garage is just there in the fabric of the city”
