Birmingham artist Thai Mason has released his new single, ‘Big Spirit’. The track is demonstrative of the Alternative Rap artist’s unique style, combining expansive production with a melodic delivery.
Mason proves on his latest offering that he can carry a track on his own, delivering a strong hook and introspective lyricism across the release. He is backed by an instrumental that takes inspiration from Gospel music, as Mason juxtaposes the ethereal chords with hard-hitting 808 drum patterns.
Thai Mason has certainly carved out his own niche on this track and this bodes well for future releases. The Birmingham rapper has a distinctive sound and he will be looking to put the 0121 on the map as he continues his musical journey this year.
