The Block Report Unveil New Freestyle Series “Staircase Smoke” With Shohaych Stepping Up For First Installment

A brand new, fresh and upcoming freestyle series dedicated to the best underground rappers in the UK, The Block Report have come through to unveil their first episode of their self-curated and produced series “Staircase Smoke”.

Adapting the concept of an estate block staircase freestyle with added visuals FX and elements, distinctive colour schemes allow the artists to each showcase their individuality and identity.

First stepping up to the plate is the 18-year-old rap riser Shoyach, who with an influence from mid-2010 UK Trap Music has come through to showcase his skippy bars and relentless flow over a clever and intuitive instrumental by AR Beats. With a street-orientated, money-making narrative within his lyrics, the teenager blends UK Drill with a slight grime influence for a perfect fusion of the two genres.
