Tiffany Calver + Remi Burgz Are Among Audio & Radio Industry Awards 2022 Nominees

Ahead of the ceremony in May, Audio & Radio Industry Awards have revealed 2022’s nominees and prominent figures from our culture have been listed!
DJ-broadcaster, Tiffany Calver, has proven that she is a force to be reckoned with and has spent the last few years rocking stages alongside the biggest names in global music. Recently launching her No Requests label [in collaboration with Polydor], Tiffany vows to take UK rap to new heights and inviting the likes of Adz, Knucks, Cristale and Sha Simone to her BBC 1xtra cypher only makes her worthy of the ‘Best Specialist Music Show’ nomination.
South London’s Remi Burgz [aka the Local Energy Provider] champions the Afrobeat sound from her conception at Reprezent Radio to her current weekday slot on BBC 1xtra. The DJ has been spotted on the line-up for prominent music festivals such as Afro Nation and Wireless. Vibrant energy from Monday to Friday has earned Remi a ‘Best New Presenter’ nomination.
Of course, the coveted ‘Best Station Sound’ nomination has been allocated to the likes of KISS FM [Henrie, DJ Esi, Ellie Prohan], BBC 1xtra [Reece Parkinson, Nadia Jae, DJ Target] and BBC Radio 1 [Clara Amfo, Melvin Odoom].
