Singer-songwriter, and self-proclaimed Queen of Afrobeats Tiwa Savage unveils her highly anticipated fourth studio album, “This One
Is Personal”, featuring powerhouse collaborations with Skepta, James Fauntleroy, and Taves.

The 15-track project, written over the past two years during recording sessions in Nashville, London, and San Francisco, captures Tiwa at her most vulnerable, with emotions seeping through every lyric. If you are a fan of Brandy and Mary J Blige, you will love this.Through themes of love, heartbreak, self-reflection, and resilience, she lays bare her heart, mind, and soul, archiving her womanhood with unflinching honesty. “I’ve done what people, labels, and others have wanted for so long. This album is for me.” states Tiwa.

What is crazy about Tiwa’s story is that she didn’t release her first song until she was 30, and now, at 45, she is finally releasing the music she wants to release. Tiwa explains that she’s long envisioned an Afrobeats and Nigerian pop album rooted in raw vulnerability, an authentic reflection of love, loss, and the scars they leave behind. It’s been a journey; the past 2 years have been the hardest for her, but the music is the biggest gift from that tough time.
