Argentine rapper Trueno returns with his fourth studio album ‘TURR4ZO’, continuing a run that’s steadily pushed him further onto the global stage.

Arriving after a string of UK and Ireland shows supporting Gorillaz, the project lands at a moment where his live presence has already started to translate into a wider international audience. ‘TURR4ZO’ feels like a continuation of that momentum: more controlled, but still carrying the same raw energy that’s defined him from the start.

The album opens with ‘X Unas Llantas’, setting things off in a direct, no-frills way. It’s sharp, confident and immediately locks you into the tone of the project. The track also comes with an official video, adding another layer to its opening statement.

Across 14 tracks, Trueno brings in a wide set of collaborators from across the Latin scene, ticking off names such as Milo J, Maria Becerra, Rubén Rada, Andrés Calamaro, Neo Pistea and Pity Álvarez.

Needless to say, ‘TURR4ZO’ is a must listen as it captures the energy of his recent live run while sharpening the studio version of what makes him stand out in Spanish-language rap.

As he returns to London this summer for a major show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, this album feels like the setup for that next stage.
