Towards the end of a year of consistent singles, Capo Lee enlists Pa Salieu for sinister single ‘What’s Wrong?’. Both complement each other exquisitely. Capo coldly offers us snapshots of street life in between an alluring and minimalist hook. Pa comes in with a contrasting energy, maximalist in his delivery, brashly rising in energy and culminating in a charged cry of “Bumbaclart!”.
A key MC to the UK scene for nearly 10 years now, Capo has worked with AJ Tracey, Dave, Reek0, P Money, Jme, Frisco, Footsie, D Double E, and many more. His thematic ambidextrousness is also apparent – whilst sharing resolute narratives of the road, he has also dropped songs in support of his beloved Chelsea FC.
Capo Lee has also proved his versatility across almost any UK dance genre, collaborating with a vast array of producers including IZCO, Ahadadream, and BAKEY. He again cements himself as one of the most adaptable MCs we have with ‘What’s Wrong?’ – a faultless and brooding release.
