Wizkid And Asake Collab On ‘Jogodo’ Single

Two titans of the Afrobeat genre, Asake and Wizkid, have come together for their new single, ‘Jogodo’. The track comes ahead of their joint EP, ‘REAL Vol.1’.

There has been clamour for a joint project since the duo linked up on GRAMMY-nominated hit song ‘MMS’. The pair dovetail effortlessly and demonstrate why they are at the upper echelons of their craft.

Speaking on the release, Wizkid states:

“Working on this record with Asake came naturally. We speak the same musical language.”

Asake added:

“When Wizkid and I collaborate, it feels special because it’s coming from a real place of friendship, mutual respect, and love for our culture.”
