YAZ Drops New EP ‘Dancing In My Room’

Rising artist YAZ has come through with her new EP, ‘Dancing In My Room’. Across seven tracks the singer has found a sound that feels both personal to her and accessible to others.

Originally blowing up in 2022 thanks to her single ‘Mr Valentine’, YAZ earned her seat at the table through her 2024 EP ‘Wish You Were Here’. She cites the likes of Jamiroquai, Mary J. Blige, and Destiny’s Child as influences.

Speaking on her latest drop, YAZ states:

“The title really says it all. This is music you can live in, whether that’s dancing alone in your room or sitting with your thoughts. Every song is personal and rooted in my real life – it touches on friendship, romance, feeling left out, fall outs, girlhood and childhood. The process of making it was so fun and freeing. I hope this music feels like a friend, something honest to relate to or just have fun with – and that people can experience and connect to it their own way.”
