A Jewellers, the home of contemporary jewellery and exclusive watches at the heart of Hatton Gardens, have stepped up to deliver a custom chain for Cris MJ, one of the most prominent South American artists. This new piece comes just days after A Jewellers unveiled their Asake chain and pendant, demonstrating consistent, sensational craftsmanship from the luxury brand.

This custom creation, made in 600g of gold and set with over 100 carats of diamonds in round and fancy cuts, with accents of natural pearls, was conceived as a spiritual reflection of the apocalypse.

The design draws on the imagery of the end of times: angels sounding their trumpets to announce judgment, fire rising as a symbol of chaos and cleansing, and intricate details that capture both destruction and rebirth. Inspired by Cris MJ‘s album ‘Apocalipsis’, the piece becomes more than jewellery and instead a vision of transformation, a reminder that even in endings there is renewal.

Cris MJ is a Chilean singer and composer who rose to prominence thanks to his 2021 hit, ‘Una noche en Medellin’, which has since gone on to be the most listened to song in the history of Chilean music with over a billion streams. His sound blends components of Trap, Reggaeton, and Pop, allowing him to quickly rise to the top of these genres and cement himself as a heavy hitter.

A Jewellers have become synonymous with luxury jewellery since their inception in 2008. Their founder, Abtin Abassi, sold his first piece of jewellery at just 19, and has been changing the game ever since. The business has thus grown from solely Abtin to now spanning a multi-talented team of London’s finest jewellers, meticulously crafting custom pieces from the highest quality materials for a clientele that reads as a who’s who of the rich and famous. The connection with Cris MJ is undeniable and brings to life the imagery that is apparent on the ‘Apocalipsis’ album.
