Music festival Afro Nation has announced a host of new names to their line up, including new main stage headliners Wizkid and Davido. Moreover, further big names have been added to the already stacked line up, including Little Simz, Popcaan, and Focalistic.

The festival returns to Portimao in the Algarve region of Portugal from the 28th to the 30th of June. With appearances from the likes of Burna Boy, 50 Cent, Asake, and Black Sherif, Afro Nation looks set to be a celebration of some of the finest music across the genres of Afrobeats, Amapiano, Hip-Hop, and R&B.

A spokesperson for the festival added:

“We are excited to welcome Wizkid, Davido, Little Simz, Popcaan, Focalistic and more to Afro Nation Portugal 2023,” said Afro Nation Portugal organisers. “These artists represent the very best of African music and culture, and we can’t wait to see them perform on our beautiful beach stage. With so many incredible acts on the lineup, this is shaping up to be the summer’s most unmissable party, and our best festival yet.”

Afro Nation has become a huge event on the festival calendar since its inception in 2019. This year looks set to be no exception, with A-list talent scattered across every stage, showcasing the best artists from an array of genres.
