Anthony Joshua knocks out Jake Paul in sixth round

Anthony Joshua has just knocked out Jake Paul in the sixth round, after multiple previous knockdowns saw Paul struggling to stay on his feet throughout the rounds.

A knockout that may have taken a lot longer than Anthony Joshua would have wanted, it was not helped that Paul’s fight strategy seemed to be to run around the ring away to keep extreme distance in order to prevent AJ landing his power punches, which ultimately he managed to do anyway.

The fight was set to go only eight rounds, with many expecting the fight not to even go past the first couple. It will be a welcome win for AJ of course, although it is likely he would’ve wished to get it done way earlier.
