Applications For A Richard Antwi Scholarship At The University Of Westminister Is Now Open

Last year November, we reported that the University of Westminister are launching a Richard Antwi scholarship in tribute to the late entertainment lawyer. We can confirm that applications are now open for the 2018/19 academic year, with the scholarship running annually until at 2023.

If you are interested in the programme – be you a  potential application or just interested in finding out more about the programme, then make sure you head down to the Cavendish Campus where you would briefed out the full details and how to go about it.

The Richard Antwi scholarship aims to continue this legacy by supporting black and minority ethnic students on the MA in Music Business Management to realise their full potential. Scholarship recipients are encouraged to continue this legacy and build a more vibrant and inclusive music industry.

The Scholarship is generously supported by key players in the music industry which so far include Island Records, Young Turks / XL Recordings, Universal Music Group, Sony Music, Warner Music, Sony/ATV Music Publishing and Clintons law firm.

A Full Tuition fee award of  £10,200 per annum will go towards the individuals living costs (distributed in 12 monthly instalments) and an opportunity to undertake work experience during the course.

In order for you to be eligible to apply for the scholarship, you must hold a September 2018 course offer for MA Music Business Management and be from the UK. Preference will be given to you if you are from a BME background.

You also have to excellent in Academics, be able to demonstrable passion and interest or experience in music, music and technology or music management; Financial Need.
