Converse Welcomes Baby Keem to the Brand’s Creative Community

As Converse continues to expand its creative roster with progressive voices in music, sport and culture, the brand is proud to announce that 21-year-old artist and producer, Baby Keem has joined its creative community.

Keem will explore multiple dimensions of the Chuck Taylor All Star through his creative vision and will partner with Converse on unique experiences with the Converse All Stars, the brand’s creator community giving emerging talent access to mentorship, experiences and opportunities.

To announce the partnership – Keem’s first with a brand – Converse offered creative license for the artist to develop and produce a short film in which he teases two of his interests – a cassette tape labeled ‘LP #2’ and a black Chuck Taylor All Star High Top – which Keem has called “iconic and timeless.”

The approach is part of an ongoing Create Next campaign which aims to offer a platform for creatives around the world and across disciplines the creative freedom to shape Converse’s legacy.

Keem is the next voice in a Converse community that already some of whom include Tyler, The Creator, Natasha Cloud, pgLang, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Alexis Sablone. He will also be supporting Kendrick Lamar in his upcoming music tour.
