Big UK Representation in 2021 30 under 30 European lists

Forbes has released its famous annual 30 under 30 list, the focus not being billionaires but for European Sports & Games as well as European Entertainment honouring the continents brightest young people.
Unsurprisingly Marcus Rashford claimed a spot in this years Sports list after a historic year for the Manchester born footballer. His victory against the UK government forcing a policy change which guaranteed 1.7 million children had access to vital food sources during the pandemic was universally celebrated. “Marcus’ selflessness is very special,” says SC Bern general manager and 30 Under 30 judge Florence Schelling.
The 2021 Entertainment edition has seen a generous turn out of for UK musical talent, with the likes of Mahalia, MNEK, Ms Banks, Arlo Parks and Joy Crookes grabbing spots on the list. UK youtube star turned hit maker KSI also received an honourable mention rounding off the artist side of the list for the UK.
Judges for Entertainment side this year included Years & Years‘ Olly Alexander, TikTok’s Gina Jackson, Amazon Studios’ Georgia Brown and more.
Top Boy star Jasmine Jobson found herself on the list leading the line for acting talent in the UK. Forbes justified her inclusion calling her an “award-winning breakthrough actress with a raw edge”.
As with list generally there are always omissions that may raise eyebrows and inclusions that mystify but take a look for yourself for who Forbes deem to be Europe’s Entertainment and Sports & Games ones to watch.
