Central Cee’s long-awaited, sold-out homecoming show took place last night at London’s Alexandra Palace. Rounding off his Still Loading World Tour!

10,000 tickets sold and even more viewers awaited via Amazon Music for what was to be the biggest and best show of his career so far. At a venue which has housed the likes of Queen, The Stone Roses, Jay -Z and our own Skepta, projecting an impressive come-up for Central Cee. This has created a benchmark for UK Rap/Hip Hop and has put his home area of Shepherds Bush on the map.

He is an artist that has been consistent and never fumbles. He is clean-cut and articulate, loves what he does and loves his fans even more; a recipe for a successful artist you could say. Although this is possibly his biggest achievement so far, let’s not forget all he has achieved over the past 2 years: his debut mixtape Wild West charted at 2nd place in the UK Album charts with Loading and Day in the Life reaching the top 20 of the UK single charts. Nominated for 3 BRIT awards this year, MOBO’s Best New Comer 2021 and countless views and streams for every drop he has blessed us with.

Let’s talk Ally Pally!

With a queue that never ends and fans awaiting the open doors, the atmosphere screamed pure excitement, this is a show true fans and new fans alike have been looking forward to for months. The Grand Hall quickly packed out to show love for his support, BBC 1 DJ Tiffany Calver. Tiffany set the mood, hyping fans up for what was to be a outlandish night.

At 9pm the lights went down and the music heightened. A heartfelt memoir to his beginnings, his life before fame and to the people who had supported him in both versions of himself was portrayed in a video shown across 3 large screens. As the bright lights shone down in to the crowd the fans screamed so loud you can barely hear, their gaze searched for the star across the platform. Welcoming his 10,000 fans, appearing from behind a metal structure situated 20ft off the ground, Central Cee made his entrance. He opened his homecoming show to his well known hit, Loading.

Fans were blessed with an hour of his best selling hits from Wild West, 23 and his latest EP No More Leaks, along with cutting visuals, fire projectors, smoke guns and confetti cannons. Not forgetting to mention the out of nowhere link up as Rondodasosa and A2 Anti took to the stage to perform Eurovision. Amazing!

A Moment to Remember

Take away the bright lights and extravaganza’s this was a moment the artist will be sure to remember for life, Central Cee welcomed his younger brother Lil Bro on stage to perform their duet Lil Bro. The track see’s them go back to back, detailing their frustrations with one another and how both are going to overcome their struggles. A touching moment that the whole crowd seemed to be grateful to be apart of. What may be the start of another successful artist.

Executing the show is true Cench fashion, he couldn’t leave without getting all his boys on stage to perform Day in the life, a track he thanks for his come up and catapult to success. Blue confetti rained down over the crowd as he thanked his fans with a smile on his face and exited the stage. A night to remember, as he said himself ”No words. You just had to be there”.

This has left us with anticipation and excitement for what is next in store, how far is going to take himself? Either way were most definitely enjoying the journey with him!
