Company Offers £1,700 To Release 100 Cockroaches In Your House

A pest control company is offering a handful of people $2,000 (£1,658) to let them release 100 cockroaches into their home to test a new pest control technique on cockroaches.
“As technology advances, we’re always looking for the newest and greatest ways to get rid of pests (cockroaches specifically),” North Carolinian based company ThePestInformer said in a news release. “In this study, we’re willing to pay homeowners $2,000 for us to release American cockroaches into your home.”
5-7 homeowners will have to allow the company to release as any as 100 Cockroaches into their homes.
Participants must own the home or have written approval from the homeowner, be at least 21 years old and be willing to commit to a 30-day study.
Subjects will also have to give the company permission to film the results as it tests out a specific cockroach treatment.
Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you see it) the cash incentivised creeper crawlers experiment is only available to US residents.
If they brought this to the UK would you sign up?
