A company is offering to pay people $10,000 if they can do go one month without their mobile phones.

Yogurt company, Siggi’s, is sponsoring a digital detox challenge, giving people a paid chance to unplug early in the year.

“We’re introducing a new kind of “Dry January” this year,” Siggi’s explained in a recent blog post. “Instead of abstaining from alcohol for a month, we challenge you to ditch your smartphone.”

“We believe in the power of living a simpler life with fewer distractions. One of the biggest distractions in our lives today is our phone. In fact, the average person spends 5.4 hours on their phones each day,”

“That’s why we’re challenging YOU to give up your smartphone for a month as part of the siggi’s digital detox program,”

On top of the prize money, you’ll also receive a flip phone and three months of yogurt!

You’ll need to fill out an application by January 31 to be in with a chance, with the 10 lucky winners announced on Feb 15.
