‘Defending Digga D’ & ‘Krept & Konan: We Are England’ Win At The 2022 Broadcast Awards

The 2022 Broadcast Awards winners have been announced with some familiar names from the scene earning hardware.

Celebrating the best in British programming and channels documentaries from Digga D and Krept & Konan received awards at last nights ceremony.

‘Defending Digga D’, produced by Lambent Productions, which see us follow Digga after his release from prison in 2020 took home Best Multichannel Programme. 

One judge hailed the project as “a truly standout film” offering “a genuine and authentic look inside a world rarely represented on mainstream TV”.

Best Original Programme went to Krept & Konan for their documentary, ‘We Are England’. Produced by Acme Films with Copa 90 and sports content specialist Ten Toes Media the “refreshing” documentary follows the Rap Game UK hosts around the nation leading up to Euro 2020, as they attempt to write an anthem for the England team.
