Drake Announces Release Date For ‘Iceman’ Album
22 Apr 2026
Global rap superstar Drake has announced that his upcoming album, ‘Iceman’, will land on May 15th. The Canadian artist hid the release information in a giant ice sculpture in his hometown of Toronto, causing a frenzy of fans to pickaxe and burn their way through the structure.
Drake has had a tumultuous few years following the release of his last solo project, ‘For All The Dogs’. His beef with Kendrick Lamar dominated rap across 2024 after a cold war between the pair that lasted over a decade. Since then, he has released a collaborative project, ‘$ome $exy $ongs 4 U’, with PartyNextDoor, as well as ‘What Did I Miss’ and ‘Which One’ with Central Cee.
A three day headline slot at Wireless last year was demonstrative that his star power has not faded, at least on this side of the Atlantic. Fans will be hoping that the 6 God has used his time away to curate one his best projects to date.
